Boat Centre

The Guide Boat Centre has 19 kayaks and four dinghys. Each year we run a kayak skills course and two fun days for Guides and Rangers. In summer we run evening kayaking sessions that units can book in for at $5 a girl (on Thursdays in term one and Tuesdays in term four). The kayaks can also be hired at $10 per kayak and we can provide qualified people to help use them. The Boat Centre Team are always looking for more volunteers who want to get wet. Manaia Tai Rangers also meet at the Boat Centre in summer.
