Guide Leadership Certificate 2007

presented in 4 parts to cover the syllabus

Girls may attend as many sessions as they need to, in order to plan, prepare and complete the certificate.
Leaders are encouraged to attend for their own upskilling and to support their girls with items which need to be completed in their units.

8. Service for a term: plan, organize, record.
2. How to be a leader and make decisions.
9. Leadership opportunities; keeping a record.
3. Know yourself and recognize your strengths.
 
Sat 16th June 1.00 – 5.00 pm Venue: Guide Hall, Essex St, Te Atatu South

4. Teach games and make teaching aids.
1. Explain the patrol system and the Guide programme.
5. Communicating clearly.
2. Teach a new game and evaluate it.
Sat 21st July 1.00 – 5.00 pm Venue: Guide Hall, Essex St, Te Atatu South

6. Evaluating games and activities.
3. Take a patrol activity. Evaluate it. Discuss.
 
4. Preparing to participate in a camp fire.
 
7. Plan and prepare to teach a skill to a new Guide.
Sat 15th September 1.00 – 5.00 pm Venue: Guide Hall, Essex St, Te Atatu South

7. Dealing with difficult girls.
5. Speak to group using supporting aids.
 
6. Make a chart to promote Guiding event or activity.

Cost: $2 per girl to cover materials and afternoon tea.
